IX Class Lateral Entry Test-2017 will be held on 24th June,2017.

Admission in Class XI Science and XI Commerce (Session 2017-18) for the students passing class X from JNV Purnea will be taken on 06.06.2017.Students of JNV Purnea only are requested to report to the Vidyalaya with their parents compulsarly on 06.06.2017 for taking admission.

After Summer vacation All staf members are directed to report to the Vidyalaya on 28.06.2017. Students will report on 29.06.2017.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Garhbnaili Purnea is situated at Garhbnaili and is spread in 25 Acers of land. It is just 20 km away from district head quarter. The district is famous for its Anchalik Sahityakar Fanishwar Nath Renu & Novel written by him, for picturisation of film "Teesari Ksam" here , for Holy Tree and pond of Mahabharata period where Pandavas stayed for some days during their exile and answered the questions of Yaksha and from here they proceeded to the palace of Raja Virat which is at present in Virat Nagar, Nepal and for Puran Devi Mandir.
